Packing again...

Back in July when we packed to move to Pittsburgh we were ready to be back with Reid and back to our now family (of four). We knew we would be back to visit friends and family. However, I didn't expect to miss our church as much as we have. We knew we LOVED it, loved the fellowship, teaching, children's ministry for Emory, small group, play dates etc. But man we have MISSED it deeply! Now we are packing to move to York, PA. This time we are leaving new friends we met while here and CBS (community bible study) and I am grieving this move a lot... I may not see these sweet friends until next year. Emory made a best friend here, Peyton, and is so upset & confused about having to leave his friend... Hate him having to first leave his friends in NC now again. Still so thankful for this opportunity and its fun to see new places. So off we go to new adventures :)

Today I'm reminded in a fresh and real way how much a gift and blessing it is that God entrusted Emory and Keillan to Reid and I.

Emory: No we go to church in Raleigh with all my friends.

Emory answers every time: No

On the way to the car for CBS
Emory says I can't walk through the snow. Me: Why not?
Emory: I need to be squeaky clean.
In the car he says mom look at my shoes. I ask are they wet? No they're squeaky clean with a huge smile :). Daddy is taking a shower to get squeaky clean for work and we go to CBS.

Emory says is that a bunny?
Me: I think that was a cheetah Emory.
Emory: no I eat Cheetos for snack.

What's up with girly hospital gowns...

Sweet Keillan is such a trooper. Since birth he has been in and out of doctors offices. Cardiologist, orthopedics, urology, ENT and pediatricians more than we can count. He now has had two surgeries, both minor, (hernia and ear tubes) but handles it all with ease and a smile! So thankful for Gods provision each step and love this boy so much. It's brings us joy to see Emory's love and interest in Keillan grow daily. He wants him to go down slides with him and occasionally will bring his toy over to make Keillan happy. Love seeing there relationship grow already:).

P.S. it's always humbling to see all the children waiting for some sort of surgery at the hospital it really makes you count your blessings for two healthy children!
